2009 St. Vincent Food Drive
The Social Issues Committee of Bond Academy, the Elementary School principal Mr. John Healey, and the Secondary School principal Mr. Jeffrey Farber are asking the Bond students to help the needy by dropping off food to the school's collection bin.

In October, our students generously supported the Halloween for Hunger food drive. The school was able to make a substantial contribution to a local food bank. Now, as Christmas is approaching, the Social Issues Committee together with our Elementary and Secondary School are planning the annual Friends of St. Vincent food drive, and again they are calling for the students' help.

Every year, the school ships at least three barrels of non-perishable food items to the needy in the Caribbean island of St.Vincent. They are most grateful for and look forward to our annual shipment, and we hope in the spirit of Christmas to continue this tradition.

The organizers are asking students to donate any non-perishable (canned, packaged, non-glass) food items. A collection bin is placed in the front reception area until December 16.
