Bond Academy's Christmas Concert 2009 was held on December 15. As always, our students showed their talent in front of their teachers and parents, leaving the audience a memorable evening.
Two Grade 8 students, Thalia and Serena were the Master of Ceremonies. The program started with the students of Grade 2 and Grade 6 dancing to the song of "Santa's Workshop". There were rich and varied programs, such as dancing, singing, reciting a poem, playing music, recorder duet, jazz ensemble, senior ensemble, etc. The event concluded by the Senior Band playing "Boogie Blues", "Jingle Bell Rock", "Christmas Medley" and "We Wish You A Merry Christmas". Students from Montessori to Grade 8 all performed in the show. Each performance received warm applause.
Knowing that the parents might not have time to take some food before watching the show, the School and the Parent Council prepared some snacks for them. There were salad, cookies, pizzas, chips and drinks, etc. While tasting the snacks, the parents were able to appreciate their children's artworks posted on the wall.
To make that evening more enjoyable, Bond Academy organized a ginger house competition. The ginger houses were made both by the teaching staff and the students. They were showed in front of the auditorium. All of them were very cute. After taking a good look at every house, the guests were encouraged to vote for the one they adored most.
